JennyLarios_headshot_72dpiIRVINE, Calif. — Jenny Larios will join Mobility 21, Southern California’s transportation advocacy coalition, as Executive Director beginning April 28, 2014. She will be supporting the twelve-member, public agency and private sector board of directors in leading the organization to advance Mobility 21’s mission to promote regional transportation solutions, improve mobility throughout the region and bring increased transportation funding to Imperial, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego and Ventura counties.

Larios brings 16 years of experience with focused expertise in the transportation industry. She has demonstrated business development, marketing, government affairs and communications experience having worked with leading architectural and engineering firms including Fluor, RBF Consulting and HDR.

“The Mobility 21 Board of Directors is pleased to have Jenny Larios leading our coalition,” said Paul Granillo, Chairman of Mobility 21 and President & CEO of the Inland Empire Economic Partnership. “Jenny will continue to ensure Mobility 21’s success and impact.”

Larios has a strong background from the project delivery side of the consulting industry encompassing many modes of transportation, including highway, transit, rail and maritime.

I look forward to serving our region by helping bring much needed transportation funding and jobs to our communities while improving our quality of life and ability to serve the national transportation network by increasing mobility throughout our region,” said Larios.

Larios has held several leadership positions with the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) and Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS), where she serves as the Orange County Chapter President. She has helped raise record amounts for student scholarships for female high school, undergraduate and graduate students through her leadership at WTS.
